OUR STORY

The New Life School of Theology is an online Bible College and Seminary that has been fulfilling its mission of, “Changing Lives and Making Leaders” for over thirty years. What initially began as a seed in the heart of our Founder, Bishop Andy C. Lewter was birthed as a small cohort of ministers at his local church in Columbus, Ohio. Over time, the courses and curriculum drew the attraction and participation of people from all over the city and later the state. As the vision for quality Christian Education emerged, our school was formally known as the Full Gospel Baptist Bible College, the flagship institution for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. 

 

In 2008, we became known as the New Life School of Theology, offering yearly Theological Intensives on the Campuses of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Regent Universities. Today, we are a completely online enterprise with a growing library of information and a thriving community of students from across the United States. As a fully online seminary, we offer high-quality education at an affordable price, saving our resources for the building up of our students as opposed to a traditional brick-and-mortar institution. 

 

WHAT WE OFFER

New Life School of Theology is an educational ministry and our degree programs are religious; they are not designed to meet any state or national license or denominational requirement.

 

It should be noted that what is offered by our school are Ministry Degrees. These are non-portable degrees that are ministry-based and have a specific aim at the church and ministry.  They should not be confused with "secular" or "liberal arts" degrees that can be used in an interdisciplinary fashion.  

 

Persons wanting degrees that can be used to teach in secular settings or used to pursue terminal degrees should consider schools with a different accreditation as an option.  Our school is incorporated in the state of Florida and is accredited by the National Association of Theological Schools (NATS) which is a non-governmental agency. 

 

As such, our study programs are not eligible for government grants or loans which is why we make the tuition cost so very affordable. If you are seeking a degree for employment (government, organization, business, or ministry), to be licensed by a state or national agency, or to transfer to a regionally or nationally accredited institution of higher learning, please check with the employer, the appropriate licensing agency, or the institution to which you desire to transfer for the acceptance of our degree before you enroll in our program.

DEGREE PROGRAMS 

Each level consists of ten courses along with three monthly webinars that include presentations from visiting professors and the Seminary President.  If you are looking for a rigorous and substantive curriculum that will expand your knowledge and improve your skill-set, then the New Life School of Theology may be the perfect solution for you.
